Once upon a time, a goblin lived on an adventure to seek its fortune. On its Journey, it came across a bug. The bug said to him, “Dear sir, would you give a poor bug a shoe so that I may have a comfortable bed to sleep in at night?” The Goblin was a kind soul, but knew it needed its shoe’s so instead it gave the bug a sock. The bug was so overjoyed with the Goblin’s generosity that it gave the Goblin a Gold Coin. As they parted ways, the bug said, “Call for me when you are in danger me and my family will come to your aid”. So, off the Goblin went again until he came to a tavern. There he met a weeping bird. The Goblin asked what was wrong. The Bird continued to cry, “Oh woe is me, I have gambled all my coins away and cannot afford even a crumb!” The Goblin remembered the coin the bug had given him and happily gave it to the bird. “Thank you, oh thank you, kind soul, if you need me, call, and I shall come to your aid!” After a good rest, the Goblin continued his journey. He came across a robber. They stole everything he owned and left him without as much as his underwear. What’s worse is that the next town the Goblin arrived at had a no shirts no shoes, no entrance policy. This left the Goblin no choice but to climb the mountain blocking his path. As the goblin climbed, they began to slip and cried, “Oh bug, oh bird, I am in need of your help!” In almost an instant, the bird swooped down and helped him to the top. There at the top was the bug already waiting. The Goblin shared his tragic tale. The Bug said, “Not to worry, we shall handle those thugs!” Soon after, the bug returned with the goblins’ belongings, striking vengeance on the thieves. The Goblin, the bug, and the bird decided they made a wonderful team, and together they lived happily ever after.
