External Storage and FIle Sharing

Posted on September 27, 2025September 27, 2025 by Margaux

There are a few ways to use external storage and file-sharing services in WordPress. I use the plugin UpdraftPlus to back up my website.

DropBox: Free to use, but has limited storage. A security risk if the password is leaked.

Google Drive: Free, however, limited storage, and potential to be hacked.

Microsoft OneDrive: Incoporates other Microsoft saved files. Has a limited storage even for the free versions.

You need to have an external storage and file-sharing service in case your page gets taken over or deleted. It’s also important in case you download a bad plugin that makes your website unusable. If you have a backup of your website, you never need to worry about losing it.

Folklore can bring immense joy and wonder to everyday life. Stories of mischievous goblins, spooky Mothmen, and even Santa Claus reflect our deepest fears, hopes, and desires. By sharing these tales, I hope to spark a bit of whimsy in the lives of readers. Let's help keep the magic of storytelling alive!
